Overview of Design
We went with a modern, full-width design layout to help make sure all the information on the front page made a memorable impression. When dealing with any sort of healthcare specialty, you want to make sure that all the incoming visitors feel at home and welcome. We made sure to highlight the services available at Spine Colorado along with the team’s mission statement on the home page. The navigation menu is home to additional information about spine problems and available treatment options as well.
Use of Color
To complement the specialty, we went with a purple and green color theme that would give a sense of hope and welcoming to incoming web-visitors. The wide, white background allows for the green to truly pop out at the users as well. When set amidst a wave of white, green jumps out at the viewer without being too assertive or flashy. It is primarily used to highlight calls to action. Purple is also associated with healthcare and professionalism. Purple is primarily used on the text and borders. When combined together, purple and green make for a dynamic team.
Elements of Design
The modern, rotating image gallery on the home page is a great way to introduce incoming web-visitors of a good note. Space is expertly managed throughout the site. The frames, text, and images are all legible and blend in symmetry with each other. We used square borders to help keep the text and images in harmony with each other. The about us tab on our navigation bar is the perfect example of using square borders to keep text and images in line with each other.
The treatments page also features additional links towards both non-invasive treatments and spinal injections. When you click on either link, you are redirected to a new page where you may read about the treatment options in more descriptive detail. The physicians and PAs tab feature the team’s educational and experience information. When dealing with such a fragile specialty and part of the body such as the spine, ensuring that you establish trust and confidence within the patient-doctor relationship can make or break a potential patient.
Images on the Website Reflect
When dealing with such a fragile specialty and part of the body such as the spine, ensuring that you establish trust and confidence within the patient-doctor relationship can make or break a potential patient. We made sure to match the tone and manner of the specialty through the images on the website. We made sure to make the images family-friendly for both the younger and older audiences. The bright colors surrounding the website also help create an impression that is both approachable and professional. The color theme also blends in well with the images on the website.
The locations tab on our navigation bar has all the contact information you would need from the spine professionals – office address, phone number, office hours, etc. There is also an interactive Google map to help patients time their estimated time of arrival as well. We also added a link to the patient portal and requesting an appointment on the top banner of each and every webpage to help increase traffic engagement. On the bottom of each web page, we have included widgets to the team’s social media.
